4th grade math

I never thought I would fret teaching fourth grade math. When was the
last time you thought about how to explain tenths, hundredths, and
thousandths. The concept of decimals and fractions is pretty intense
four 9 year olds.

We busted out the bad ten blocks. Remember the yellow cubes, long
blocks, and flat blocks? When was the last time you even said the
phrase "fifteen AND thirty-five hundredths"?

It turns out this place is the Abercrombie & Fitch version of Victoria Secret.  Sexy underwear marketed for teens in a space that looks like the inside of a speakeasy lounge with employees dressed in pajamas.

I walked out confused...

Thoughts about the mall

Gemma's in Victoria's Secret and apparently I embarass her whenever I
go in that store with her so I'm waiting outside with this other dude
on his phone.

I haven't been to Southcenter Mall since the mid 90's and I have tk
say this place is humongous! 3 levels, mo is the theater 5 food
courts, wifi! We've been here for an hour and we haven't even been to
the second floor yet!

Gemma was attacked by an overly agressive 18yr old chick at this store
teeny bopper store who was talking her ear off abot designer tee's and
jeans. The conversation went somehing like this:

"Omigosh, I just love your outfit! Those boots are so awesome!"

"I'm looking for something for my 18 yr old cousin."

"Well that perfect cause we're the same age! Well our designer tee's
are over here and we have an awesome collection of jeans....blah
blah..."

Exit, Michael from the store and Gemma getting mad that I left her to
fend for herself to learn all about teen style today...
