FYA Drill Team

We caught the Filipino Youth Activities drill team at the International District Street Fair today. It was awesome. They incorporated traditional Filipino dance, martial art, and tight drill team routines into a stellar performance.

This has nothing to do with the FYA drill team, but we found this cool coffee machine at Unicorn Crepes down the street.

Heading home

After 11 days of being on the road in San Francisco an San Diego, I am ready to go home. Free wifi at the San Diego airport is nice.

I touched the sand today!

I'm not a huge fan of sand, but I ventured out to the beach today. Sand is everywhere now.

Sun's out!

We've been staying at a condo literally a block away from the beach. I haven't seen it yet.

Haight Street

The Man of Leisure was carousing on Haight St last weekend picking up a gift for Elsie. Some tourists were asking me for directions. Damn tourists....oh wait...

Man of Leisure III

We cooked up some dinner with the wedding party last night. Steak, grilled vegetables, and lots of wine. My goal today is to watch The Hangover.

Adventures of the Man of Leisure

Landed in San Diego for Carol's wedding yesterday. Proceeded to take Carol out for her last ever Taco Tuesday in Pacific Beach. After hitting up a few bars, I realized that I'm not a huge fan of the PB bar scene.

My skinny legs don't look good in board shorts and I have little patience for obnoxious bleached haired surfer chicks who hog the bar. On the flipside, I do like 3 dollar Pacificos and house margaritas.

As a new Man of Leisure, I have found that it is easy to lose track of the days. I love vacation!
